American and BBQ flavors combine to help revitalize Downtown Roachdale.
Primarily serving the northern Putnam County community (and surrounding areas) as a food truck service, Vince Johnson saw an incredible opportunity present itself in the form of a previous BBQ restaurant building come up for sale. Vince’s fast-growing food truck has expanded from a small tent set up in late 2020 to a regional business with two food trailers, making appearances at some of the largest event venues in Indiana and Illinois.
The menu consists of the classics, pulled pork BBQ, tenderloins, and cheeseburgers, but there are many unique “American” style options also including, buffalo chicken burritos, BBQ quesadillas, and a “Sundae” bowl with bbq, mac & cheese, and coleslaw. Make it a point to stop in, try the food, chat with the friendly waitresses, and meet Vince, who is in the weeds, cooking in the kitchen.
