Every Sunday, from 2 – 3 p.m., through June 2, Breezeway Farm and Stable hosts “Open Sessions” to watch a wild mustang trained as a lead-up to the Extreme Mustang Makeover.
On March 2, Breezeway announced, “Tag #6333 is here!!!!” Upon arrival, the two-year-old wild mustang mare from Nevada began her 100-day “gentling” journey with Breezeway Trainer Kara Thomas.
Guests can witness the training process first-hand, along with other mustangs in various degrees of domestication at Breezeway Farm. Open Session tickets are $10. Children five and younger are free. Make reservations by emailing beth.breezewayfarm@yahoo.com
With approximately 100 days to tame a wild horse from wild to mild, trainers from across America take the challenge of competing with an American Mustang at Extreme Mustang Makeover events in different U.S. cities. Trainers compete for cash and prizes while displaying the trainability of American Mustangs in hope of finding a suitable adopter or purchaser.
