The Inn at DePauw’s Vine Street Patio is an outdoor venue between the Inn’s indoor restaurant and bar. Both serve guests at the Acoustic Sunset concerts, performed on the patio, on a Friday evening schedule, when, as the name implies, the sun begins to set. Acoustic Sunsets are free acoustic concerts, from 6 – 8 p.m., sometimes with one performer, two or a small band. The volume is mellow and so is the come-and-go atmosphere underneath the pergola and among the ferns and outdoor fireplaces.

The 12-concert schedule runs May through September, when the Tunes and Tapas schedule takes over outdoors and Jazz at the Duck and the Fret Set both begin a winter schedule of concerts indoors. We’ll post those schedules here closer to fall.
