HOW WILL YOU PAUSE IN PUTNAM COUNTY, INDIANA?

Walk in the park. Ride in the woods. Attend a concert. Dine in style. Listen to classical music. Dance to a rock band. Fish on a lake. Go to a festival. Watch a horse show.

WE HAVE LOTS OF OPTIONS.

Seasonal events are part of our heritage; from Farmer’s Market in the Spring, and County Fair in the summer to the Covered Bridge Festival in the fall.  The wildly-anticipated events compliment the seasons seamlessly, and mark the passage of time in an unique way that is pure Putnam.

Equine tourism is travel inspired by the horse, for recreation, leisure and business, encompassing all activity that has the horse as its focus.   Horses have been part of Putnam’s culture for many years;  we’re thrilled to share our activities with visitors and new friends.  Saddle up!

Covered Bridges still dot the Putnam County landscape and are as popular as ever, in spite of digital technology, driverless vehicles and the latest Starbucks’ concoction on the menu.  Learn about our nine covered bridges (one is haunted!) and download a map.   It’s pure Putnam!
