Camp Friend’s mission is to serve all youth by offering an excellent outdoor experience.
The 62-acre venue includes primitive and developed campsites and two permanent shelter-houses, all available by reservation for a modest fee. The expansive shelter-houses frequently play host to large education, nature and family events.
Camp Friend offers hiking trails; movie nights, with free popcorn and drinks; an annual fall run/walk called the Gnaw Bone Wilderness Challenge; group camping in sites situated close to restrooms; a playground; and basketball court.
