A multi-generational farm in Fillmore, the orchard offers more than 200 apple varieties, a large, and very quaint, country store and special family-friendly programming year-round...especially in fall.
For nearly 50 years, the Chandler family has owned and operated Chandler’s Farm and Country Market. With nearly 200 varieties of apples, Jerry, Matt and their extended families invite you and your family to enjoy the fruit trees they continue to plant and to pick your favorite apples from a diverse selection.
In the fall, the farm features a pumpkin patch, horse-drawn hayrides, a straw maze, and bonfires! Year-round, the Country Market offers local foods and a wide variety of apple products. It also serves as an idyllic venue for church retreats and family outings, as well as a fun and educational outdoor classroom for school field trips.
The orchard is open late summer through the end of December. On the eastern edge of Putnam County, Chandler’s is in Fillmore, 3.5 miles west of Stilesville on US 40, halfway between Indianapolis and Terre Haute at the corner of 825 East and US 40.
