The Greencastle Farmers Market opens in the shade of the east side of the Courthouse Square and closes up at noon, with the sun overhead. The Market continues every Saturday through October 1, from 8 a.m. to noon. Admission is free.

An easy 10 minutes straight south down State Road 231, is the Cloverdale Farmers Market, also open 8 a.m. to noon. Obviously, each hosts different growers and artisans. Combined, the two make for a robust Saturday morning of fresh air, fresh produce shopping and “communiversity.”
