A special event at the Putnam County Museum, associated with the ongoing Heirloom Coverlet Exhibit, a Show & Tell will take place on November 12. Locals and visitors are encouraged to bring their personal coverlets to the museum to share its story. Local weaving expert and curator, Jennifer Johnson will be on hand to discuss coverlet construction methods, fibers and dyes used, resources for learning more about your coverlet, and how to care for your coverlets. Just like the exhibit, this event is free of charge and open to the public.
