Host to horse shows nearly every weekend, C Bar C Expo Center is the largest equestrian/multi-purpose indoor arena in Indiana.
While it’s the largest indoor equestrian facility in Indiana, and host to a horse show nearly every weekend, C Bar C also plays host to the National Tractor Pullers Association Winter Nationals and a national lumberjack show. The facility sits on 50 acres just south of US 70, and its five indoor acres include two arenas, 500 box stalls, a horse motel, a solar-powered infrared heating system, high efficiency lighting, wash racks with heated water, barrel and pole laser setters, office/meeting room, exhibition and spectator areas, bleachers, large heated bathrooms, showers, wi-fi access, a complete kitchen, and concession area. Outdoors, it offers riding trails, camping and 207 RV electric hookups.
A smoke-free, family-friendly facility, the entire barn is cleaned and sanitized before every show to promote the health of the horses and other livestock participating in events. In 2019, the facility went solar and is now run completely from its solar field that sits behind the arena.
Host to a wide range of equestrian events, including The International Barrel Racing Association, The National Pole Bending Association, The Indiana Girls Barrel Racing Association, the National Barrel Horse Association, and The American Quarter Horse Association, among others, C Bar C also is home to the International Buck Skin Horse Association’s World Show.
In 2015, the facility hosted its first National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) Winter Nationals and is now home to the world’s largest indoor track consisting of 320’ with a smoke tube. Today, C Bar C’s Invitational NTPA Winter Nationals is rated among the Top Five indoor pulls in the nation.
In 2018, the Indiana Stock Show moved to C Bar C and has become an annual event. This year, the facility added a lumberjack show to the August lineup to celebrate the hardwood industry in Indiana, an event that hasn’t been in the state since the 1980’s.
