BreadWorks by Bridges features pastries, doughnuts, cakes, lemon and blueberry breads, baguettes, focaccia and more – by the warm or toasted slice or the whole loaf.
Open Wednesday through Sunday, this new expansion to Greencastle’s extensive dining menu features pastries, doughnuts, cakes, lemon and blueberry breads, baguettes, focaccia and more – by the warm or toasted slice or the whole loaf. An extensive coffee menu and tea choices round out the offerings.
BreadWorks by Bridges features a second-floor bistro built around a demonstration kitchen, showcasing great views of downtown Greencastle and offering soups, salads, sandwiches, beer, wine, and bright airy seating where locals and visitors relax, read and meet friends. The ground floor is surrounded by windows, allowing great views into the kitchen and the bakers at work.
BreadWorks by Bridges is an extension of the Bridges Craft Pizza & Wine Bar and TapHouse Burgers family of locally owned restaurants, clustered in a three-block area of downtown Greencastle and filling the need of all three for rolls, sandwich breads and desserts.
Executive Chef Sal Fernandez oversees the work in all three kitchens. He attended the Culinary Institute of America and has roots in California’s Napa Valley, home to The French Laundry and Bouchon Bakery, two of chef Thomas Keller’s restaurants.
