From 8 a.m. to noon, every Saturday through September 26, gardeners, growers and artisans bring their produce, ready-for-market foods and crafts to the Cloverdale Farmers Market. Admission is free.
Downtown Cloverdale is an easy 10 minutes south of the Greencastle Farmers Market, which runs 8 a.m. to noon on the Putnam County Courthouse Square, so make a Saturday morning of it, compare prices and varieties of all kinds of plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables, pies and cakes, honey, maple syrup, soaps, and more.
You’ll run out of your favorites by mid-week, and the Bainbridge Farmers Market is there for you — every Wednesday, 4 – 7 p.m., on the Bainbridge Town Green, just a half-hour north.
