The Pancake Breakfast is the major fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club of Greencastle, this is an annual event, always on Mother’s Day weekend Saturday. Each meal of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and drink is $5; preschoolers are free. All proceeds are used to benefit children, such as Riley Hospital for Children; two college scholarships of $500 each for a senior graduating from Greencastle and North Putnam High Schools; community organizations such as Beyond Homeless, INC, Rescued Treasures/Putnam County Humane Society; Transformers; and others.

The most recent Kiwanis International project was to immunize expectant mothers against tetanus; mother and newborn mortality from tetanus kill many mothers and children, especially in the developing world.  We contributed to that effort.

Live music will be performed by a local musical group.
