Continuing the 2022 Monthly Hiking Tour series, Putnam Parks & Pathways hiking leader John Garner and other local professionals explore trails, nature preserves, and parks all across the county. Free and open to the public, these hikes are more akin to casual strolls through the woods, suitable for beginners or adventurers that haven’t visited a location before. All hikes are out and back, and should not last more than an hour or so, though folks normally stick around to hike additional segments and speak with the local professionals.

The first event of the year is a special, New Year’s Day Hike at Lieber SRA. It will cost $7 to get through the gates at the State Park, as always, the hike starts at 9:00 a.m.
