We’re back and better than ever for 2024! Featuring pre-race donuts by Breadworks & post-race festivities at Lost Hollow Beer Company, we want you here for the party! The Pedal Putnam road ride & race is Saturday, June 22 at 9 am.
Pedal Putnam is a celebration of cycling and the growing cycling-scene in Putnam County – including beautiful country roads, challenging hills, stunning lake views, and murals galore! With a metric century (62 miles), a 40 mile, and 15 mile route, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to complete your first gran fondo, race against the best, or get in some great training miles before the Dust Bowl or RAIN, Pedal Putnam is where it’s at.
We are thrilled Pedal Putnam has become a challenging event for all riders. Last year, we had our largest field yet, including strong women riders from V3 Endurance, Indy Momentum Divas and J’s Women’s racing teams. We were also honored to have athletes from Thunder Adaptive on the start line – a cycling team with those facing physical disabilities. Pedal Putnam believes every athlete and every type of rider should have the chance to ride.
Plus, this year we’re honored to have Chef Sal from Bridges Craft Pizza & Wine Bar as a celebrity rider. Chef Sal will be competing in the “Mural Metric” as a James Beard nominated chef / restaurant, one of the nation’s highest honors in the culinary industry.
