The Indiana Barrel Racing Association returns to C Bar C Expo Center for its annual Sweethearts and Barrels three-day show, over Valentine’s Day Weekend.  Barrel racing is a rodeo event. with horse and rider attempting to complete a cloverleaf pattern around three barrels in the fastest time.  Fast-paced and fun to watch, it combines the horse’s athletic ability and the rider’s skills to successfully maneuver in a triangle in the center of the arena.

The Sweethearts and Barrels show includes Junior, Senior, Amateur, and Youth barrel racing, beginning Friday, Feb 14, with warm-ups.  Saturday and Sunday both begin at 9 a.m. and continue until around 3 p.m.

As with nearly all equestrian events at C Bar C, admission is free and the show is family friendly.
