Sponsored by Main Street Greencastle, First Friday is a once-a-month celebration of local culture. Franklin and Indiana streets, around the Greencastle Courthouse Square, are closed for multiple music stages on which multiple live performers and bands play all evening. Each First Friday is unique and all feature local foods and plenty for children to enjoy. Guests certainly are welcome, and admission is free.

The Taste of Putnam County, a special First Friday event is co-hosting with the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce and offers a sampling of nearly 30 different restaurants around the county. Try food from every corner of the county, cast your vote, and help to decide who has the best “Taste” in Putnam County.
