Rounding out the farm-fresh trifecta in Putnam County is the Bainbridge Farmers Market, open 4 – 7 p.m. every Wednesday. In the middle of farm country, regulars get a mid-week restock of what’s running low from their Saturday morning purchases at the Greencastle Farmers Market (20 minutes south) and Cloverdale Farmers Market (another 10 minutes further south). Within one week, every week, the county has three farmers markets within a half-hour of each other.

While located in Putnam County’s bread basket of corn, bean and vegetable fields, this smaller market tends to focus on baked goods until harvest time is near. Great pies, cookies, breads, and rolls are staples. Easy parking is right there. Admission is free, and the Bainbridge Dari-ette is a stone’s throw to the east.
