Conspire is a curated collection of functional handmade housewares, prints, paper goods, clothing, accessories and bath & body products, as well as the Black Cat Gallery rotating local art space.
Conspire: Contemporary Craft is a retail boutique, on Putnam County’s Courthouse Square, specializing in high-quality modern handmade products. It features a carefully chosen collection of functional handmade furniture, housewares, prints, paper goods, clothing, accessories, and bath & body products by more than 120 local and regional artists.
The mission of Conspire is to reconnect guests with makers by bringing the best of modern handmade art, craft and local foods to our area, and to support local and regional artisans with a venue for networking and for showing their work.
Conspire also offers a selection of organic and fair trade teas, herbs, cut flowers, incense, chocolate, and artisan condiments produced by artists and herbalists in our area and beyond. Conspire is home to Teehaus Bath & Body, an interactive soap lab where customers can watch soaps, lotions and more being made from scratch.
The boutique also offers classes, crafty night out workshops, birthday parties, and group activities led by local artists.
