Just north of Greencastle there's a huge stand of maple trees, and in the middle, at the end of a very long, hilly drive, is Harris Sugar Bush.
One of Indiana’s largest maple syrup producers, Harris Sugar Bush is open every day throughout syrup season – the last week of January through the first week of March. Tours are available year-round by appointment, and its log cabin store offers local foods, pancake and waffle mixes, maple cream, maple candy, and of course Harris syrup, made from the sap of the farm’s hard maple trees. Harris ships worldwide.
