The Sham Rock and Roll 5K run celebrates Saint Patrick’s Day with a course through downtown Greencastle and the DePauw campus, live music, custom bibs, Sham Rock t-shirt, a green finisher beer for all 21 and over, disposable chip timing, and overall and age group awards.

The run begins and ends at Almost Home Restaurant, 17 W Franklin St, Greencastle, and the cost is $25/participant.

Packet pick-up begins at 8 a.m., and the run starts at 10 a.m. There is plenty of parking along the streets downtown for all participants and guests, and all are encouraged to stay after the race for a fun community Saint Patrick’s celebration.

This event financially supports the Greencastle Music Fest, a rocking two-day music festival in August.
