Stretched out across 12 acres of land is a 3-acre garden, a greenhouse, a wash-and-pack facility, bee hives, and the Ullem Center for Sustainability which hosts “Fall Farm Days” every other Thursday in the months of September and October. Join the leadership team and other volunteers to help pick, clean, wash, clear, pack, and all the other farming adjectives you can think of! After spending a few hours getting your hands dirty, the Sustainability Program offers games, s’mores, and hang out session to relax and get to know more about the program and it’s members. This volunteer event helps contribute to the success of the program which sells 90% of its yield to Hoover Hall (on-campus dining hall) and directly feeds the students of DePauw University!
